overview
Academy 147 is looking for a full-time Senior Technical Training Instructor on Pilatus aircraft to conduct aircraft maintenance type training courses online and on-location worldwide for customers.
This is a remote position, and the applicant can be located anywhere within 1-2 hours from an international airport.
A strong candidate would have confidence and an outgoing personality and should have formally or currently hold maintenance certifying privileges and sufficient experience working on one or more of the aircraft below. The desired applicants should also have gone through formal training on the aircraft on either mechanical and/or avionics subjects specific to the types below:
Pilatus PC-24
Pilatus PC-12
Other business jet experience, especially on Textron products would also be considered an asset.
The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience and line/base maintenance experience and/or troubleshooting / AOG experience on one or more of the types mentioned above.
Experience in aircraft maintenance instruction would be considered an asset but is not necessary. Extensive coaching and on the job training will be provided.
responsibilities
Providing both on-location and virtual classroom training and/or hands on practical training on aircraft systems, instruments, components and their functions, troubleshooting and airworthiness as well as common safety, and maintenance procedures.
Instructors will need to be able evaluate student performance in both a theoretical / classroom environment and practical / hangar environment.
Complete all necessary documentation as per internal quality controls.
Willingness to travel throughout the United States and internationally to conduct training on-site in the customers’ facilities.
Excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language.
Willingness and ability to provide feedback and support to our course development team as a subject matter expert.
