training for business aviation professionals. We develop and deliver high-quality technical training that support safe, compliant, and effective aircraft maintenance operations within the aviation industry.
We are seeking a Technical Training Material Developer to join our Training Department. This role is ideal for a graduate with an aeronautical engineering or related engineering background who is interested in applying their technical knowledge within the aviation training environment. The successful candidate will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical training materials used for aircraft maintenance training. They will be working closely with experienced subject-matter experts, instructors, and designers to translate complex technical information into structured training content.
responsibilities
· Develop, edit, and maintain technically accurate aircraft maintenance training materials, including course notes, student logbooks, and examination documentation.
· Interpret aircraft systems information and maintenance-related technical content in collaboration with subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and clarity of training content.
· Draft and update examination questions in coordination with subject-matter experts, in line with internal quality standards.
· Convert and format training content for use within the Learning Management System (LMS), including SCORM-compliant materials.
· Support the creation and refinement of technical diagrams and system illustrations, working with designers to ensure engineering accuracy.
· Maintain clear version control, traceability, and documentation for all training material.
· Assist with additional technical documentation and training development tasks as required by the Training and Development departments.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Essential
· Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or similar).
· Strong technical aptitude and ability (or quickly learn) to understand and interpret aircraft systems documentation.
· Excellent command of technical English, both written and verbal.
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
· Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to technical detail.
· Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
· Ability to work effectively with engineers and technical subject-matter experts.
· Eligibility for employment in Malta and the EU.
· Availability to work on-site in Malta on a full-time basis.
Desirable / Nice-to-Have
· Familiarity with aircraft systems and aviation maintenance concepts.
· Previous exposure to aviation training, technical documentation, or instructional material development.
· Experience with SCORM content or Learning Management Systems (including quizzes and assessments).
· Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
· Previous experience within an EASA Part-147 environment.
