This course provides an in-depth understanding of aircraft systems and instruments in line with ATA 104 Level III standards. Students gain knowledge of system functions, architecture, component locations, and how to use maintenance manuals and schematics. The course also covers on-board maintenance systems, common defects, required special tooling, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
This course will be a classroom-based or On-line course, and will include elements of presentations, questions, scenarios, resource-based learning and self-directed learning to ensure that all students are able to progress at a rate suitable for them.

Course Objectives
- Common Maintenance practices and gaining the skill set required to maintain the aircraft in accordance with the maintenance procedures prescribed in the AMM.
- Utilizing the aircraft’s technical documentation including maintenance manuals and other approved data.
- Performing Mechanical and Electrical system monitoring and operation tests i.a.w. the aircraft technical documentation.
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting methods including the knowledge necessary for the use of on-board reporting systems.
- A working knowledge of the aircraft’s maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Familiarization with various maintenance checks and intervals related to the aircraft.
- Use of special tooling related to the aircraft.
- Minimum Equipment List and Dispatch Deviation List.
- Gaining insight into the common faults experienced during maintenance events and how to prevent them.
