As yesterday was Thanksgiving, a day widely celebrated by Americans worldwide, we planned a traditional thanksgiving dinner for our Malta based staff. The main idea behind thanksgiving is to take a moment to reflect and be thankful for what we have and to gather with friends and family for an abundant, traditional meal. It was a pleasure to be able to get the team together for this meal as we have had a record-breaking year here at Academy 147 and have a lot to be thankful for.
It was also nice to show staff members this aspect of American culture, as 2018 also marks the start of our new North American business unit, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This unit will deliver the same type of value-added, quality training that Academy 147 has become known for and will cater to clients based in the Americas. We plan to offer training courses and packages in Las Vegas as well as travelling to the customer to perform training on location.
We are currently recruiting North American based instructors, training coordinators, and sales staff.
