Welcoming Joe Bonita: A New Chapter in Academy Aviation Maintenance Training USA

We are delighted to announce an exciting addition to the Academy Aviation Maintenance Training USA (AAMT) team! Joe Bonita has joined us to spearhead our business development initiatives, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to excellence in the aviation industry. In his new role, Joe will play a pivotal part in driving company growth within the business aviation and Government sectors worldwide.

With close to four decades of experience in Government, commercial, and business aviation maintenance, coupled with extensive executive leadership roles, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. His background encompasses a diverse range of experiences, including a notable tenure as an avionics technician in the USAF, where he served as a Master Instructor for Air Education and Training Command’s Field Training organization.

Joe’s leadership acumen was further demonstrated through his roles as the commander of two field training organizations in Europe, where he led a sizable team of instructors. Notably, he also served as the Director of Operations and Lead Instructor for the prestigious USAF Advanced Maintenance and Munitions Officer School, overseeing the comprehensive curriculum and managing a team of elite instructors.

Beyond his military service, Joe’s dedication to education and training is evident through his 26-year tenure as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His multifaceted background uniquely positions him to drive strategic initiatives and foster meaningful relationships with our valued customers.

In his capacity at AAMT, Joe will be instrumental in supporting our sales and marketing efforts, including representing our organization at various industry events. His appointment underscores our commitment to providing top-notch education and training solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
