Formed through the unification of Academy 147 (EASA), AAMT (FAA), and Academy Aviation Online, AAG has launched a new integrated website (www.academyaviationgroup.com) that brings EASA and FAA pathways together in one intuitive system. Students and partners can now access one of the world’s most extensive portfolios of National Aviation Authority (NAA) maintenance training approvals through a single, streamlined platform.
A New Hub in America’s Aerospace Corridor
This October, AAG marked the opening of a new training center in Melbourne, Florida – a key aviation and aerospace hub. Operated by AAMT, the facility sits within the Apollo Building at Melbourne International Airport.
“This investment into Melbourne is a huge step forward for us,” said Andrew Trinchero, Chairman of AAG and CEO of AAMT. “We’ve been planning it for years and finally found the opportunity to make it happen. We’re expanding our team, adding new courses, and actively exploring ways to contribute to the local aviation ecosystem.”
Initial training sessions in Melbourne begin November 2025, with expanded offerings planned throughout 2026.
Preparing for the Next Wave of Global Aviation Maintenance Training
AAG is positioning itself not just as a training provider, but as a global thought leader in aviation maintenance education. With one of the largest collections of NAA approvals – including FAA, EASA, UK CAA, GCAA (UAE), CAAS (Singapore), CAAM (Malaysia), DGCA (India), CASA (Australia), and more, AAG is uniquely equipped to serve both fixed and rotary-wing operators worldwide.
Looking to 2026, the group will expand beyond traditional type-specific training, introducing new flexible options through Academy Aviation Online. These programs will support technical excellence while aligning with the needs of operators, OEMs, and MROs globally.
