Academy 147 is excited to begin a new partnership with University of South Wales Dubai. USW Dubai is a UK Higher Educational institution, that offers a number of aerospace engineering British bachelor’s degrees. They offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are combined with basic training, for aircraft maintenance engineering licenses.
The partnership with USW Dubai focuses on Academy 147 performing specialised aircraft type training courses. It is offered on campus to aviation industry professionals from the UAE and wider regions.
According to the Accountable Manager, Andrew Trinchero, of Academy 147 – “This partnership will allow us to conduct our training in a state of the art and academically enriching environment, which is already approved by EASA and the GCAA. In addition, it will also offer USW students more exposure into the blossoming Business Aviation market, that the UAE calls home. The manpower shortage in aviation is a worldwide issue that needs to be tackled. We want to do our part to see that our industry flourishes worldwide.”
The partnership between these two educational institutions offers a considerable contribution to the UAE’s aviation ecosystem. In support for the local industry, Academy 147 has agreed to give one free training seat per year to a student selected by University of South Wales Dubai.
