Courses, Registration and Payment
All courses include the required course materials and all examinations. On-site courses will generally not include lunches or refreshments. Course fees do not include flights, visas, transportation, or hotel reservations; however, assistance can be provided.
All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT when applicable. Prepayment is required prior to the course starting date and full receipt of payment is required prior to the release of certificates.
Course Durations and Dates
All training course dates and durations are subject to change. Information presented on the website may not be indicative of the latest course durations, as these can vary depending on factors such as approval status, course type, and other considerations (e.g., public holidays).
Course durations will be confirmed in writing by Academy Aviation Group prior to the start of training.
Course Cancellations
Students will receive final confirmation that the course will be held at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date.
Academy Aviation Group reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training courses up to 14 days before the scheduled starting date. If a course is cancelled, registered students will be entitled to a full refund or a credit note toward any future courses offered by Academy Aviation Group. Alternate dates may be proposed in the event of a cancellation.
Cancellations by participants must be made in writing at least 30 days before the start of the course and are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the course start date will result in 100% forfeiture of the course fees.
Academy Aviation Group cannot be held liable for any expenses incurred by the student (e.g., flights, hotel, accommodations), even in the event of a course cancellation.
Course Attendance
All courses require a minimum of 90% attendance to be successfully completed.
Practical training courses require 100% attendance.
Exams
All examinations require a pass mark of 75%. If a student fails, they are entitled to re-sit the examination after additional tutoring.
Each student is allowed a total of 3 attempts. Failure to pass after the third attempt will result in forfeiture of the entire course.
Assessments
All practical element courses require one or more assessments through which the student must demonstrate competency to one of our Practical Assessors. This is a pass/fail assessment.
If the student fails, they may attempt another assessment after receiving additional tutoring. A total of 3 attempts are permitted. Failure to pass after the third attempt will result in forfeiture of the entire course.
Certificates
Certificates will only be released once full payment has been received.
Certificates are issued only to participants who meet the attendance requirements and have successfully passed all exams and assessments.
Certificates will be released only to the company or individual who booked the training, unless written authorization is provided to release them directly to the student.
Course Materials
All materials, documents, handbooks, and teaching aids are the sole property of Academy Aviation Group, protected under copyright law.
These may not be copied or duplicated in any form without the express written permission of Academy Aviation Group.
Place of Jurisdiction
Academy Aviation Group is a Maltese registered company.
Therefore, any claims or disputes shall be referred to the Maltese courts. The place of jurisdiction is Malta.
